The Pre-Marital Counselling Centre (PMCC) is a flagship initiative of the National Commission for Women (NCW) aimed at promoting healthy, informed, and resilient marital relationships. The Centres provide systematic guidance to individuals and couples planning to marry, enabling them to understand emotional, social, legal, financial, and interpersonal aspects of married life. PMCCs act as preventive and capacity-building platforms, helping young adults develop communication skills, conflict-resolution abilities, gender sensitivity, and awareness of rights and responsibilities. By fostering informed decision-making and emotional preparedness, PMCCs contribute to family well-being, reduction of marital distress, and long-term social harmony.

Communication Guidance

Effective communication is the foundation of a healthy relationship. We help individuals and couples develop active listening, respectful expression, empathy, and conflict-resolution skills to build trust and mutual understanding before marriage.

Relationship Building

Strong relationships are built on trust, respect, and shared values. Our sessions guide couples in understanding expectations, responsibilities, emotional compatibility, and teamwork to create healthy and long-lasting relationships.

Counselling Support

Our counselling services provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where individuals and couples can discuss concerns, resolve conflicts, and receive professional guidance for informed and confident life decisions.

Healthy Families

Healthy families are the cornerstone of a strong society. We promote mutual respect, gender equality, emotional well-being, shared responsibilities, and positive family values to build stable, supportive, and harmonious households.
